Regarding Texas’ Petition to the Supreme Court concerning the 2020 Election

Regarding the election, and Texas’ petition to the US Supreme Court regarding the handling of the elections in the States named in their complaint, here are a few points to ponder…

If the Constitution didn’t really mean it when it says that the Legislatures of the States determine how to select their presidential electors (not Governors, not Judges, not Mayors); then I guess it really doesn’t mean what it says about the number of electors a State sends, right?

So, Texas can send 1,000 electors and Trump will win, right?

The questions are:

  1. Does the Constitution mean what it says?
  2. Can a State take another State to SCOTUS if the other isn’t abiding by the Constitution in matters of Interstate Importance?
