It’s several months since Dell “Superdell” Schanze jumped from the Astoria Tower in Oregon — the whole thing caught on video and posted to YouTube.
He was quickly identified and arrested.
Since then he was released on bail (June 13th), and has a court date pending this month.
That’s somewhat difficult for the Utah man. He’s lived in Sandy and more recently Saratoga Springs — both are quite a distance from Astoria, Oregon.
Apparently, the city of Astoria and Schanze have reached a “tentative agreement” that won’t require Superdell to make the long trip back to the Pacific Northwest to appear in court. The details of that agreement were not readily available.
