Where do your candidates stand?

Campaign 4 Liberty
Dear Friend of Liberty,

It’s vital you contact your candidates for the U.S. Senate today.

You see, just recently, I sent ALL of your candidates for U.S. Senate a Campaign for Liberty Candidate Survey.

The good news in Utah’s Senate race is that Republican Mike Lee has pledged to be a leader against the freedom- and economy-wrecking schemes of the establishment and to instead support genuine limited government.

In fact, Mike Lee is the only candidate to answer the survey 100%.

The bad news is Democrat Sam Granato has not responded to his survey.  In fact, when a reminder to fill out his survey was sent certified mail, he did not even pick it up, and it was returned.

Usually when candidates REFUSE to come clean on tough questions about their views it’s because they can’t wait to join the tax and spend, “politics-as-usual” crowd in Congress.

You see, the survey’s questions are designed so your candidates’ answers will tell you and me whether they’re planning to maintain the liberal “Government-knows-best,” tax and spend status quo in Washington, DC . . .

. . . Or if they’re planning to CUT spending, IMPROVE the economy, RESTORE individual liberty, and LIMIT government involvement in our lives.

With his 100% pro-liberty survey responses, it’s clear Mike Lee understands that as government grows, individual freedom is lost and citizens suffer.

He has pledged to do everything possible to make sure the federal government does not take over the health care industry.

However, Mike Lee’s major opponent, Alcohol Beverage Control Commission Chairman Sam Granato, has a lot of reasons to not tell you where he stands on the issues important to you.

Sam Granato thinks that ObamaCare was just a start.  He said on the website On the Issues that Obamacare “was a start, but we still have a long way to go….”

Just in the seven months since its passage, we have seen companies drop their coverage or raise rates by 20% or more.

Sam Granato will not tell you where he stands on other issues that are important to you and me.

On guns, Granato couldn’t even bother to return the NRA’s questionnaire.

We don’t know what he will do on issues like Cap and Trade, which if passed could cost Utah potentially tens of thousands of jobs.

We don’t know how he will vote early in the next Congress on the reauthorization of the PATRIOT Act, which authorizes wireless wiretaps on our citizens.

Finally, we don’t know how he would vote on Audit the Fed, which would let us know what the out of control Federal Reserve is doing with our money.

That’s why it’s vital you contact Sam Granato TODAY.

Demand he apologize for his past support of higher taxes and bigger government and instead pledge 100% support for individual freedom and limited government.

Please also contact Utah’s candidates for the U.S. House listed on the linked roster who have not yet answered our survey and demand they follow Mike Lee’s leadership by signing and returning their Campaign for Liberty Candidate Surveys as well.

The good news is politicians listen better to the demands of folks like you and me when they’re out looking for votes rather than when they’re safely in office.

So now is the time to take action.

There’s no doubt about it — the 2010 elections will be critical to the future of our country.

Our fragile economy is cracking under the weight of too much spending, too much taxation, and too much government involvement.

It’s up to you and me to put a stop to it all.

I can’t do it alone.  So if you can afford to, please click here to make a generous contribution of $100, $50, $25, or $10 in support of Campaign for Liberty’s critical 2010 programs.

But most importantly, please contact Democrat Sam Granato and the rest of Utah’s candidates IMMEDIATELY.

Sincerely,

John Tate

John Tate, President
Campaign for Liberty

P.S. Only Republican Mike Lee has pledged 100% to fight for individual freedom and limited government in Utah’s U.S. Senate race while showing real leadership to back it up.  Please take a moment to contact him and thank him for his stand for liberty and to urge him never to back down.

And then contact his major opponent, Democrat Sam Granato, and demand he apologize for his past support for higher taxes and bigger government and instead return his Candidate Survey in support of Liberty and limited government.

P.P.S. Sam Granato is not the only candidate in Utah trying to hide his views.  Please also contact Utah’s U.S. House candidates listed on the linked roster who have not responded to our survey and urge them to sign and return the survey in support of Liberty and limited government TODAY.
